AMO Accessibility Label
The Accessibility label was created by CERTIVEA, in collaboration with Handigo. It highlights the work done to promote accessibility for all in buildings, for all types of PRM, from permanent disabilities to occasional difficulties.
Although the framework is geared toward inclusive accessibility, it also incorporates the concepts of sustainable development and quality of life. The work on the framework is not limited to access and pathways, but also to the ergonomics of equipment, the readability of spaces and their functions, and the protection of individuals.
The Accessibility label can be issued for projects under construction, renovation, but also in operation.
The framework is subdivided into 6 concerns
Access to the building
Usage
Safety
Visual comfort
Acoustic comfort
Sustainability
Some requirements can easily be combined with HQE B/BD certification, others will be a specific complement to this theme.
